The choice of ribbon depends on your printing surface and durability requirements. Wax ribbons are ideal for paper labels with minimal abrasion. Wax-resin ribbons work well on coated papers and offer better scratch resistance. Resin ribbons are recommended for synthetic materials requiring high durability. The thermal printhead is considered a consumable item and is covered by warranty for a maximum period of one month only. The warranty applies exclusively to manufacturing defects and is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase or installation, whichever is earlier.
In the case of printhead installation:
- Original printheads: One-month warranty from invoice date
- Compatible printheads: One-week warranty from invoice date
Note: No warranty claims will be accepted after the applicable warranty period has expired.
